This work reflects my complex emotions following the events of the past year in Israel. It explores the pain and challenges I’ve faced, imagining an alternate life in Switzerland, a country I see as an ideal, peaceful place untouched by war. The project takes the form of a uniquely designed book, featuring my original illustrations and breaking away from the conventional page format. Each page is shaped like a mountain, echoing the Swiss landscape and reinforcing the sense of serenity and permanence I associate with it. The vivid color palette serves as an escape from the harsh reality at home, creating a dreamlike contrast to the difficulties I experience.

The Translated Text
I wish I was born in Switzerland.
My government was not corrupt and had only seven ministers.
I will be part of a peaceful nation that doesn't cut in line.
My taxes will be invested in restoring nature.
My partner will be with me.
The blooming anemones will warm my heart.
The news will report that a new variety of rare plant has been discovered.
On Saturday nights, I will indulge in whimsy.
If I hear an ambulance outside, I’ll know someone is giving birth.
I won’t need to worry about them not coming back (the Israeli hostages).
